Inspire Foundation Group Africa started the Academic Excellence programme in 2011 under the Inspire School Support entity. Over the years, this programme has managed to source and track talent from Grade 7 to Grade 12 learners. Our annual Prize Giving season is one of the most exciting seasons in our calendar year. Through this programme the foundation has managed to foster a
culture of academic excellence in our partner schools.
Learners look forward to an event that recognizes excellence through prestigious medals,
trophies and shields.
Since inception, the following schools have benefited from this initiative:
Bisho Primary School (Eastern Cape)
Bisho High School (Eastern Cape)
Phandulwazi Agricultural High School (Eastern Cape)
Klopper Park Primary School (Gauteng)
Bovet Primary School (Gauteng)
Epworth High School (Zimbabwe)
In 2014, the season kicked-off in the Eastern Cape Province, and our first destination was Bisho High School. The foundation sponsored the school’s academic merit awards for the fourth consecutive year, assuring the school of our 10 years commitment. Unathi September represented the foundation (captured above) and also attended the school’s 20th anniversary.
An additional Eastern Cape school (Phandulwazi Agricultural High School) was included in the 2014 academic excellence programme. Phandulwazi Agricultural High School is a specialist school, based in Alice in the Eastern Cape. Philela Majokweni and Natasha Mazomba represented the foundation at the event.
Sanda Ncama represented the foundation at the Bisho Primary school prize giving, sponsoring the school for the third consecutive year in 2014. Our last event for 2014 was at Bovet Primary School prize giving at Alexandra Township. The foundation has long term relationships with all academic excellence programme partner schools, volunteers are encouraged to recommend potential partner schools. Click to recommend
